Cause
The Gabriola Historical and Museum Society’s mission is to preserve, promote and share island stories while walking in Truth and Reconciliation. Our exhibits, programs and events welcome and honor Indigenous and Community voices and stories of this place by sharing Gabriola’s past, present and future cultural and natural history. We are a community of people of all ages and identity and invite everyone to engage, share their stories and listen to others.
With the support of our dedicated community, staff and volunteers we are working hard to maintain the sustainable operations of the organization and the land we steward. A big thank you to everyone who offers financial and volunteer support for the Museum’s exhibits like the new Eagle Nest cam viewing screen, the school and summer programs and special events such as National Indigenous People’s Day and Canada Day.
This 50/50 raffle will support organizational costs for the building, staffing and more. 50% goes to a community member at the same time. Together so much is possible!
